
YOUTH MUSIC THEATRE PRODUCTION CAMP (7-12yrs)
High School Musical Jr.
Based on a Disney Channel Original Movie written by Peter Barsocchini
Sing, Act, Dance! A fun and exciting way to explore and learn musical theatre skills while working towards performing the full musical production of High School Musical Jr. with lights, sets, and costumes! Students receive lessons in dance, voice, acting and will create set pieces and props for the final show held at Alumnae Theatre the last day of camp.

Note: Students registered in both camps will receive $30 off and will have the opportunity to learn and perform a different role in each camp.
Sample day:
9-12pm
Introduction and Warm-up Games / Dance Instruction & Show Choreography / Vocal Warm-up and Music Rehearsal /Acting Improvisation and Games
12-1pm
Supervised Lunch (No Nuts or Seeds)
Students are required to bring their own drinks, snacks and lunch/
1-4pm
Create Set Pieces / Show Staging and Dialogue / Outdoor Time / Run Scenes
Note: The last day of the camp is held at Alumnae Theatre and students are responsible for getting to and from the theatre
Extended Care Hours:
Before Care: 8:00-9:00am
After Care: 4:00-5:00pm
Cost: $5/hr per child
Extended Care Service must be booked in advance. Before and After Care is not available the last day of camp on July 16th and July 30th.
Final Show:
Camp 1: July 16th at 2:00pm at Alumnae Theatre
Camp 2: July 30th at 2:00pm at Alumnae Theatre
Each camper receives two free tickets to the final show of High School Musical Jr..

YOUTH MUSIC THEATRE HALF DAY CAMP
Enjoy a high energy fun-filled week of learning and performing your favourite Broadway tunes. Students will build solo and ensemble musical theatre skills in singing, acting and dance while working towards a final showcase performance held at the end of the week.
Camp Dates: August 16-20, 2010
Days: Mon-Fri
Times: 9:00-12:00pm
Early Bird Fee (April 1st): $225
Regular Fee: $250
Final Show:
August 20th at 11:00am at Bravo Academy
GRADE 2 ADVANCED MUSIC THEORY
A co-requisite for RCM practical examinations. Students will learn basic music theory skills such as: pitch, rhythm, intervals, chords, scales, and transposition. Musicianship will be used to help solidify the understanding of the musical theory/concepts learned. Students should expect regular homework assignments, occasional quizzes and tests o that students are fully prepared for the RCM Advanced Rudiments Examination.
Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 5:00-7:00pm
Start Date: July 6
Final Class: August 5
Fee: $325 (includes materials)
Students must register through RCM directly for the exam. Exam dates are August 6 and 7.

Show Synopsis: Two Acts, Pop/Rock Musical
A grown-up story about growing up!
With an unforgettable rock score from Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, 13 is a hilarious, high-energy musical for all ages about discovering that cool is where you find it, and sometimes where you least expect it.
Students will have the opportunity to work with a professional artistic team and perform in the full production of the Jason Robert Brown’s musical 13. Entrance into the program is via audition only. There will be four performances held at the Alumnae Theatre and space is limited!
