  • Biography

    Jessica Gallant was born and raised in PEI and spent six years performing at the historical Charlottetown Festival. She was the second native Islander in the 53-year history of Anne of Green Gables to play the title role of Anne Shirley. Jessica was recently nominated for Broadway World’s “Best Leading Actress in a Musical” Award, for her role as Ariel in The Little Mermaid at Drayton Entertainment. Other credits include: Adele in A Man of No Importance (Garner Productions), Ali in Mamma Mia! (Neptune Theatre), Marty/Sandy U.S in Grease (Winter Garden Theatre), Sally in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. Charlottetown Festival credits: Anne/Diana in Anne of Green Gables the Musical, Mamma Mia!, Evangeline World Premiere, Alice Through The Looking Glass, Canada ROCKS!, 2010/2012 Young Company. Film: Reign, Man Seeking Woman. Jessica is also a Certified Makeup Artist.
