SAMPLE KIDS SCHEDULE

Sample Kids schedule

Week 1: Meet your instructors, and your new friends! In our first musical theatre class, we learn about our fellow performers.

Weeks 2-4: We work on our performance skills through theatre games, vocal exercises, and movement activities, along with learning the songs we’ll be performing for our friends.

Weeks 5-8: We begin to stage our musical theatre performance, matching our music with stage movement and characters, using the techniques we’ve learned.

Week 9: Dress rehearsal! We try on any costume elements and practice our final musical theatre performance before the audience arrives.

Week 10: Show time! We show our friends and family what we’ve learned in an ensemble performance inspired by a musical theme or popular musical. Students perform in our state-of-the-art Zlotnik Studio Theatre.
