Our Kids Broadway class is a fun-filled introduction to the world of musical theatre!
For the active, creative child who loves dramatic expression, and exploring music and movement in a supportive environment.
Classes will involve Theatre Games, Ensemble Music and Beginner Dance, led by industry professionals. This musical theatre program culminates in a Final Showcase Performance in our Studio Theatre.

Your Kids Broadway class will be working on selections from Anne of Green Gables – The Musical, including favourites like Ice Cream, Gee I’m Glad I’m No One Else But Me, & more.
With a focus on equal opportunity, ensemble collaboration, and creative growth, every performer plays an important role in bringing Anne’s story to life. Appropriate for performers of all skill levels!

SAMPLE KIDS SCHEDULE
Sample Kids schedule
Week 1: Meet your instructors, and your new friends! In our first musical theatre class, we learn about our fellow performers.
Weeks 2-4: We work on our performance skills through theatre games, vocal exercises, and movement activities, along with learning the songs we’ll be performing for our friends.
Weeks 5-8: We begin to stage our musical theatre performance, matching our music with stage movement and characters, using the techniques we’ve learned.
Week 9: Dress rehearsal! We try on any costume elements and practice our final musical theatre performance before the audience arrives.
Week 10: Show time! We show our friends and family what we’ve learned in an ensemble performance inspired by a musical theme or popular musical. Students perform in our state-of-the-art Zlotnik Studio Theatre.
