Biography

Sara Shahnazarian, is a first generation Canadian teacher, writer, director and NOW Magazine Outstanding Performer recipient. She obtained a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory with an emphasis in Devised Acting.

Sara is the co-founder of Party Time Productions theatre company, which produced the sold out, award winning musical comedy, Allegra and Serena present: Twinsations (NNNN) which Sara created, co-directed and performed in.

For the past few years, Sara has been a teacher and director all across Toronto for youth and young adults ages four to twenty-four. She has written and directed shows for Stagecoach Performing Arts, Annex Children’s Theatre in Education and currently works as a director and musical theatre creation instructor at Randolph College. She has enjoyed working on musicals such as Frozen Jr., We Will Rock You Jr. and Elf. Sara is so excited to be joining the team at Bravo, directing the musicals for the Junior and Intermediate Troupes!
