  • Biography

Michelle is an administrator and lifelong theatre enthusiast who is thrilled to be part of the Bravo Academy team.

In spite of a Bachelor of Journalism degree from Carleton University, Michelle has never found herself very far from the theatre world, and has enjoyed a wide variety of opportunities, including: two years as Artistic Director at the Sock ‘n’ Buskin Theatre Company in Ottawa; three years as Box Office Manager at the Classical Theatre Project in Toronto; co-writing and producing an original play with Lazy Sunday Theatre Co at the Ottawa Fringe Festival and Toronto Fringe Festival; stage managing with Marquee Productions and Cue6 Productions; and supervising more summer camps than you can shake a stick at.

Most recently, Michelle spent an exciting year at ME to WE that included travel to Ecuador and Kenya.

Michelle’s passion is arts education, and she strongly believes in the power of the arts to transform lives. In her spare time, she enjoys Netflix binges, sandwiches, and the complete works of Stephen Sondheim.
